Call Screening & Announce

Sign Up NowYou will always be able to decide which calls you want to take.

Call Screening

  • Viewable phone number for easy caller identification
  • Easier to answer priority calls
  • Ability to block incoming numbers from reaching your extension
  • Ability to create automatic call handling rules
  • Maintain control of your non-disrupted work time
  • Ability to Identify disruptive and time-wasting callers

As each call comes in, the telephone number of the caller will be displayed for your convenience. For numbers you recognize, you can decide how to handle the call by answering it or sending it directly to voicemail. If the number is not familiar to you, the call can be transferred to voicemail or another extension, allowing you to remain in control of your time and not be interrupted by sales people or telemarketers.

Call Announce

  • Staff will always know who is calling prior to answering the phone
  • Incoming calls can be prioritized
  • Ability to re-direct low-priority calls to voicemail or other extensions
  • Increases work and time efficiency

The Call Announce feature allow staff to know who is calling before answering the calls blindly, giving staff the ability to make call handling decisions. Calls coming through will first prompt the caller to reveal their name prior to being put on hold. When the call is transferred to the intended extension, the caller will be able to hear a selection of music or promotional messages during their brief wait time. The call is forwarded to the appropriate extension.

Staff will answer the call, hear the name of the caller and have the ability to make a prior decision on how to handle the call. Callers are unaware of the process and all calls will be handled in a time-efficient manner. Priority calls can be answered in a timely manner. Calls of low-priority can be forwarded to voicemail without having to be answered. Staff can also choose to block the call or transfer it to another extension.

Toll free phone numbers, also referred to as "800 numbers", are special telephone numbers that the person being called pays for the cost of the call. Even if the caller is calling from outside the local calling area, the person receiving the call will pay for all calls made to the toll free number. The amount of money the toll free phone number owner pays depends on where the toll free number was obtained, and how much use the toll free number receives.

The majority of toll free number services work like this: the caller dials the toll free number. The phone call is forwarded to a phone number of the owner of the toll free number's choice, and then the owner pays for the call.

Toll free numbers may start with 800, 888, 877, or 866 - with future growth to include toll free number prefixes of 855, 844, 833 and 822.
