Call Allow List

Sign Up NowOnly allow calls from particular areas

The Call Allow List functions differently than the Call Blocking feature, which blocks specific phone numbers from reaching your telephone number or extension. With the Call Allow List, you can program your phone system to allow calls coming from specific area codes. You can add more than one 3-digit area code into the Call Allow List at any time. Anyone calling from those specified area codes will have access to your forwarding phone number. Anyone outside of the designated area codes will not be able to complete the call to your phone numbers. Callers will instead receive a pre-recorded message stating “the phone number is not available” or a similar message. Incoming calls from outside the select area codes will not result in additional charges are your account.

Toll free phone numbers, also referred to as "800 numbers", are special telephone numbers that the person being called pays for the cost of the call. Even if the caller is calling from outside the local calling area, the person receiving the call will pay for all calls made to the toll free number. The amount of money the toll free phone number owner pays depends on where the toll free number was obtained, and how much use the toll free number receives.

The majority of toll free number services work like this: the caller dials the toll free number. The phone call is forwarded to a phone number of the owner of the toll free number's choice, and then the owner pays for the call.

Toll free numbers may start with 800, 888, 877, or 866 - with future growth to include toll free number prefixes of 855, 844, 833 and 822.
